BATMAN Project

I did this Batman garbage can over the course of a few years as an homage to my favorite character and the artists who've drawn him. None of the original artwork is mine, but I hand-painted everything on here, using references for each character. 

Done with acrylic paint and Copic Multiliner pens, I had to work a bit backwards compared to how comics are traditionally made, starting with the pencils first, then putting in the colors with acrylic paint, and finally adding the details with the pens.

Original artwork references were taken from artists including Greg Capullo, Jim, Lee, Frank Miller, Tim Sale, and many more.
